10/10 experience! We truly enjoyed the Afro Food Tour. We learned so much about African and Black history. The food was absolutely scrumptious — you should definitely come hungry! Our guide Carolina was so knowledgeable and kind. Would absolutely recommend this tour to anyone traveling to Rio.

Gabriella was a breath of fresh air. She was so knowledgeable and pleasant. 3.5 hrs flew by listening to her dive into the history. I think that this tour is essential to book while visiting Rio. 10/10

The Little Africa tour is amazing. The history of Africans in Brazil and the impact that the enslaved had on the culture. Visiting different museums and historical sites was so rich. My favorite part was going to Padre de Sal and seeing the birthplace of Samba. You can feel the energy in the space. Gabi was a phenomenal tour guide. She was extremely knowledgeable, friendly, and caring. You can tell she has a passion for African history, and sharing their stories. I would definitely recommend requesting Gabi as your tour guide.

Our tours with Etnias Turismo were excellent! I learned so much and our guides, Gabriella and Val, were so prepared, so gracious and very accommodating with helping us understand the rich history and culture of Little Africa for both the Food Tour and the Little Africa Tours!
